Jaron "Boots" Ennis and Eimantas Stanionis are set to clash in a welterweight title unification bout on April 12 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Matchroom Boxing announced Thursday. The highly anticipated matchup features ESPN's top two welterweights, with Ennis ranked No. 1 and Stanionis No. 2. Philadelphia native Ennis, 27, will compete close to home in the historic boxing venue of Atlantic City. Ennis (33-0, 29 KOs) will defend his IBF title for the third time, coming off a unanimous decision victory over Karen Chukhadzhian in a November rematch.
